lost rhymes #2

here is another long lost piece of work that never seen light of day ....
this is over 4 yrs old


it hurts to see my people being helpless,
stuck in a hole that they dug themselves in.
I want to lend a hand , but they will probably bite it,
if I take control to help them, they call me tyrant,
my choices are slim, but If I listen to the voices from within,
I know I can change these little boys in to men.
I don’t want to be annoying to them, another voice in the wind,
like they father, condemning and pointing out they sins,
I just want to give them pride and show them the right way,
show them that even though its rainy outside, its still a nice day.
you got to make it through the storm to see the rainbow,
no one ever said it was going to be easy, to make them pesos.
nothings for free, and if you stay on ur ass you won’t get shit
, and above all else, accomplish nothing and you wont get respected,

Fears

i realized something last night...

i am not afraid of things that scare me from afar
but when im up close or there i am not afraid...


last night i had a dream

and in that dream i was about to die along with my mom in front of me
and instead of panicing....

i held her face in my hands, looked her in the eye and told her that i loved her and that i thank her for everything she has done for meee

a break from promotional bulletions for a great reason, that is almost bigger than my showwwwww


a few years ago i dropped out of CAL STATE LA because i went to the counselor and i told her i chose my major. well that counselor told me that i would be unable to do that with my life and i shuold rethink what i wanted out of life because my dream job was unachievable....

so i dropped out because why go to school to become somehting i can never be.... i didnt even finish the quarter.. it was fall 2004.


this summer i went to see a counselor to see if i could get back into school. i told her the story, i told her of my 4 yr journey now of dropping out, of careers, and of set backs. she over looked my file and told me that there was nothing i couldnt do in life if i really wanted it. after furthur review by the luck of God 3 quarters were wipped off my record because i was disqualified for not paying. those were my worst quarters..... so instead of trying to get reinstated with a 1.5 i have a 2.75... i was granted reinstatement. ... but i still had to reapply....

today i checked my application and I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT UR BOY TONY PARK WILL BE BACK IN SCHOOL IN JAN 2009 AND BY FALL 2012 I WILL BE A TEACHER AT A SCHOOL NEAR U!!!!
